Oh yeah, and the boathouse has dock spiders. These things are so untouchably cool. (Seriously, you probably shouldn’t touch them.) This may be the biggest I’ve seen; it’s spanning a 2x(something) with half its body, which means it’s around 3” wide. Dock spiders don’t actually weave webs – they hang out near the water’s surface and snatch their prey from the water itself. That’s pretty damn cool.
