Another thing: my mid/tweeter is more efficient than my woofer. I included, therefore, an “L-pad” circuit in the original crossover design, which is basically resistors in series and parallel to the speaker driver that reduce the power it consumes (and therefore lower its volume) without changing its apparent impedance. I disconnected the original resistors, though, and installed the variable L-pad you see here, because I wasn’t happy with the amount of attenuation the original L-pad provided. Once I get the speakers assembled I’ll tweak it until I find a balance I like then buy more resistors for a permanent L-pad circuit.
